Our Guilty Pleasure

Tomorrow night the fourth season of LOST premiers. We are anxious to see where this season goes. One thing we know, this season will be cut short thanks to the greedy writers in Holywood. Only eight episodes so we hear.

This is our one Television indulgence, outside of the occasional "Big Game". We will be gathering with other avid fans for LOST and supper tomorrow night.

Where will you be?

I'll be training with my missions team. But, THEN I'll be watching LOST, just 45 minutes behind everyone else. :-)

Going to have to disagree with you on the greedy writers. This same thing happened when VHS became a new medium and production companies were short-changing writers their cut of sales. Of course everyone involved wants the most they can get, but it wouldn't have happened had fairness reigned in the first place.

Just my opinion!

Cary,

Good to hear from you. I am super glad that in spirit we will be watching together.

Wanting more money and wanting it bad enough to short change my LOST season are different stories.

While we are on the topic, who is your favorite LOST character?

I'll agree that the real losers in all this are those of us with serious LOST habits. I'm going to really get the shakes if all we have are 8 episodes. I guess in some way we all relate to Charlie? ;-)

I guess the character I'm most intrigued with at this point is Ben. I have a feeling that, despite his evil conniving, that he is actually going to turn out to be somewhat of a misunderstood hero. He certainly knows things that we don't and I have a hunch that he is really trying to work in the best interests of the island, for better or worse of those on it.

So, I guess we'll see!

You?

Ben. An interesting pick, kind of scary in fact. His significance is clear, but his character is as murky as Fort Phantom.

Up until Jack started "falling" for Juliet he was my guy. Now it's Sayid. I feel like I know what I'm getting with him.

I definitely don't "like" Ben (not sure that's possible), just very intrigued by him. I have this strange feeling that Sayid is going to be killed off before too long. Who knows!
